Dulaang Kalay, the student theatre organization of Kalayaan College, opens their second year with one of London's longest-running plays: Stephen Mallatratt's The Woman In Black, a ghost play based on the novel by Susan Hill.

The play begins years after the horrifying experience of solicitor Arthur Kipps, who has hired a young actor to help him tell his story of the strange occurrences at the mysterious and secluded Eel Marsh House. Sent as a solicitor for the late inhabitant, Mrs. Drablow, Kipps finds himself in the midst of the village ghost story. He believes it to be just that until he sees the specter in black and learns her terrible purpose.

This chilling tale will be presented by stage veteran Jeremy Domingo and Reb Atadero (Dulaang UP's Rizal X, blueREP's Bare), with direction by William Elvin Manzano.

A special advanced engagement will be held in T.E.A.T.R.I.N.O., Greenhills Promenade. Be among the first to witness this haunting on August 31, 2012 at 1:00 and 7:00PM.

Tickets will be sold at 400.00Php, with a 20% discount for students and teachers with valid I.D. An open forum with the cast, crew, and creative team for the benefit of high school drama clubs follows the 1 PM show.
