HUBAD: MGA KWENTO NG KALAYAAN
A guerilla theater event by LeAP! (Lesbian Activism Project, Inc.), in special collaboration with Filipino Freethinkers. Personal monologues on the experiences of coming out written by LGBTQs will be performed.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATIONS:
LeAP! (Lesbian Activism Project Inc., Philippines) is a non-stock non-profit organization for LGBT rights and welfare composed of and led by young queer women. It has been around since year 2000 but under a different name, Lesbian Advocates Philippines, Inc. (also LeAP!) and renamed only in 2010. Their focus areas are on awareness, advocacy and empowerment.

FILIPINO FREETHINKERS is the largest and most active organization for freethought in the Philippines. Freethought is a way of thinking unconstrained by dogma, authority, and tradition. To a freethinker, no idea is sacred; all truth claims are subject to skepticism, rational inquiry, and empirical testing. In this light, they aim to promote reason, science, and secularism as a means of improving every Filipino’s quality of life, free of ignorance and oppression—in a society where they are able to act and think for themselves, and in a country where religion and governance are clearly and permanently separated.

Special signed copies of "Aura: The Gay Theme in Philippine Fiction" edited by J. Neil Garcia, "A Token of our Friendship" by John Silva and DVD copies& Posters of Zombadings are available at the gallery.

Film showings of PAGDADALAGA NI MAXIMO OLIVEROS and ZOMBADINGS will be held on Sundays, 9th and 16th of September at 1PM and 3PM, respectively.
