Altro Mondo - Arte Contemporanea is pleased to present new works by Spanish artist Ginés Serrán Pagán, on view at the Greenbelt Gallery from October 15-31.

The exhibition will open at 6:00-9:00 PM on October 15. It is being held in part to celebrate Día de Colón, or Columbus Day, which is officially on October 12. Guest of Honor at the opening reception is Cristóbal Colón de Carvajal y Gorosábel, 18th Duke of Veragua and direct descendant of Christopher Columbus.

Ginés Serrán Pagán [b. Ceuta, Spain) studied in Spain and New York and has travelled extensively throughout the world. Combining art and anthropology, he has done 70 solo exhibitions in 15 countries, including the Guggenheim Museum. Among his numerous awards and honors are the first International Award of Anthropology, the Fuji International Art Award, and the New York TV and Video Festival. He has also been honored by various cultural and social Institutions in Mexico, the Philippines, China and Japan for donating his art to charity.
