Renowned Spanish cellist Iñaki Etxepare, who has been at the forefront of the European classical scene for the past few years with his groundbreaking work and unmistakable sound, will conduct a free masterclass for young cellists on Monday, December 10, 10am at Instituto Cervantes de Manila.
One of the best-known classical cellist players in Spain, Etxepare received his first violoncello lesson with Jacques Doué in Baiona, France where he obtained the Medaille D’Or and the Prix d'Honneur. He later on broadened his studies in Paris and Barcelona with X.Gagnepain, P. Müller, L. Claret, and M. Tortelier.
On December 14, 8pm, enjoy an evening of classical music as Etxepare share the charm and timeless quality of the cello with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Theater.
