George is a Cuban, son of exiled parents whose family fled HAvan and evetually prospered in exile. His passion for photography took him to meet the geography of his native country and eventually his love. Eva is a young girl from Havana who wants to develop her creativity for fashion design and was to marry Angel, a boyfriend in ger entire life. Havana became the scene of chance encounters and passionate relationships that are spinning a story where love becomes a vehicle to forge a new government.

Frank, a man of few words and a past preferred forgotten arrives in Venezuela for the first time, making sure no time is wasted in a place so far from the core of the war. He didn't imagine that in a tropical place, espionage by the Nazis had been planned to strike one of the main engines of war: the oil supply to the Allies. Much less imagine that his life will change when he meets Venezzia ( Ruddy Rodriguez), the wife of his commander, Captain Enrique Salvatierra (Rafael Romero).

Venezzia, a beautiful and mysterious woman who suffers from a rare eye disease, has lived for many years locked up in the house of Salvatierra, on a hill overlooking the sea. Her marriage to Enrique is a nightmare, but cannot find the determinationto leave for fear of being alone and abandoned.

Costumes, hideaways and fake names allow the girl and her cousin TEO to reinvent their parents' lives who were active militants in the Venezuelan guerilla warfare in the 60's. As if in a game, while awaiting the return of the parents from the mountains, they create a superhero's adventurous game of persecution and secrecy. But the child's game is incapable of hiding the treason and contradictions which dictate the life amongst the guerillas. Nevertheless, fear pervades in their reinvented world, and more so, when the "Postcards from Leningrad" arrived.

Marked during the War of the Independence (beginning of 1800), when the troops of Simon Bolivar fought to achieve the independence of Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Equator and New Granada (today Colombia and Panama). Manuela Saenz, relates her history of love and fight for the Latin-American Independence, when she became the sentimental partner of The Liberator Simon Bolivar.

The film tells the story of Fernando Quintero (Gustavo Camacho), revolutionary leader who after the fall of the dictatorship of Marcos Perez Jimenez, rises to power, betraying his ideals to become complicit in the repression against which he fought.
