Anonymous Filed Under:

Amici means "friends" in Italian. It is also the name of a newly formed classical music trio of Filipino and Japanese musicians who befriended each other while students at Elizabeth University in Hiroshima, Japan. Amici will serenade local audiences in their debut concert at the Sta. Isabel College Auditorium on August 27, 2013 at 8:00 p.m.

The trio composed of Joseleo Logdat, baritone, Tomoyo Kobayashi, piano and Kazuki Yamamoto, violin will perform a range of music from classical to traditional Japanese pieces. The concert is presented by Sinagtala Management for Filipino Performing Artists to commemorate the 10th death anniversary of cellist Vicente Lopez, Jr., whose musical scores for chamber groups will be donated to the Santa Isabel Conservatory after the concert.

The Amici Trio will perform works by such classical masters as Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, and Kobayashi in the Sto. Cristo del Tesoro Auditorium in Sta. Isabel College on Tuesday, August 27 at 8:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. DZFE is the official media partner of this concert.
