Some houses were built as sepulchers,
whose dwellers, even in peace do not rest.

After decades of keeping, a family’s dark secret finally surfaces. Behold the Villamayor mansion on Calle Gatuslao whose pillars coat a heritage of blood, whose walls conceal an inheritance of gloomy past, and whose doors unlock to a birthright of strange deaths. For behind its illustrious fa├žade are dreadful lies and tragic deaths entombed in time’s silence for generations gone by. Every dusk, darkness cloaks the mansion where restless spirits wander from tragedies of their graves to relive among the living –pleading, avenging, preying. Recounting death in grim apparitions are the matriarch who died from childbirth, the poisoned sister, the strangled twin, the husband whose heart was cut out, the hanged pregnant daughter, the stabbed brother, the drowned wife, the son who shot himself, and the patriarch who fell down the staircase. As tall tales, all nine deaths from three generations have been believed to be wrapped by the Curse of the Dead Rose: “By love shall your household be bound, by love shall it be shattered with blood –all in the blood."

Will the death of the cursed nonagenarian, the ninth demise in the lineage, finally bring closure to the terrors within or merely unravel more rooms for epitaphs? Was it really a curse or the family’s own dysfunctional legacy that led them all to the tragedies that were?
