On its 47th season, DLSU-Manila’s Harlequin Theatre Guild (HTG) continues to push itself with exciting choices of productions. With last year’s Best Cultural Group and Best Non-musical Production Aliw Awards nominations for Unang Ulan ng Mayo as a benchmark, HTG challenges itself, once again, to take on Tim Dacanay’s stage adaptation of the Palanca Award Winning Novel, The Sky Over Dimas written by Vicente Garcia Groyon.

Directed by Romualdo Tejada, this student based theatre group revisits the uncanny story of the Torrecarions this November 21-23 and 25, 2013 at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University-Manila.

HTG welcomes Bembol Roco, an award-winning actor, to play the role of George Torrecarion, alongside, Redjie Jimenez, a professional theatre actor, reprising his role from last March’s run. The rest of the cast includes HTG’s alumni, Charisse Ang and Senior Member Janine Martinez as Margie Torrecarion; Senior Member Jose Rufino Dy Buco as Raffy Torrecarion. Music Scoring by Dodgie Fernandez, whose recent works include HTG’s "Si Tonying at ang Mahiwagang Aklat ng Kasaysayan" and PETA's "Haring Lear"; Set design by Joseph Duran, whose recent works include La Salle Dance Company-Contemporary's "Sudhaya" and HTG’s "Si Tonying at ang Mahiwagang Aklat ng Kasaysayan"; and Lights design by Tanghalang Pilipino's resident lighting designer Katsch SJ Catoy.

To witness the mysterious lives of the Torrecarions, catch the show on November 21 (Thursday) at 6:30 p.m., November 22 and 23 (Friday and Saturday) at 10:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and November 25 (Monday) at 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tickets are sold at P200.
