A visual retelling by way of taking photographs as a means of documenting calamities, accidents, blissful happenings, political disdains, even a layman on the street - all that encapsulates the wealth of humanity involved in the everyday are seen from the lenses of these photojournalists who are each contributing works in order to reach out to the communities affected by the super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) which recently hit the country. Seeing the wrath of Yolanda damage the lives of many through photographs that continue to move across media, serves to remind us of the power of the photographic image to unearth stories that lie beneath each image as they create a shared experience that encompass a diverse people.
