Strange Skins and Phosphene
Representations of forgotten ephemeral encounters turning into vague fantasies.
Memories are compartmentalized and stored in our minds but the quickest transitory experiences are almost immediately forgotten. There are times that we doubt ourselves if these experiences really happened and that is when we dig and investigate our own minds to come up with our version of history.
The pieces are representations of what we try to remember such as identities of individuals, sensations and incidents. Trying to recall these fragmented memories are nearly impossible that you fill a void with crafted pieces, turning the recollection into fantasies, useless and unstructured beliefs, false proclamations, white lies and fleeting truths, all products of deconstructed memories.
