Using a variety of media such as video, painting and embroidery, the show is a rumination on language, extracting metaphors from visual and word plays that comment on her own art practice vis-a-vis the art scene, but punctuated with self-deprecating humor that singes on the existential purpose of the artist in the world, and now, more than ever, as its significance is seemingly hinged on their market value. She means to entreat questions to what the artist's real drive to creation is in such a context. Partly autobiographic, she mines from her own experiences as artist and curator, and primarily as human being, the answers to such.
