One-man show by Vicente Pardo Jr.
July 2-15, 2014
Art Galileia

Following the success of his first one-man show in 2011, Vicente "JunX" Pado comes back to the art scene with "Gulong". In this new series, Pado explores a familiar yet delicate territory as he shows us images of children that are then incorporated with signs and symbols creating exceptional representations of the artist's collected narratives of his own cycle of life: his childhood experiences, fatherhood, and starting a family in a foreign land.

Pado graduated from the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines – Diliman. As a student, Pado won in several art competitions such as the Shell National Students Arts Competition, Art Petron, and the DPC/YP-PLDT Visual Arts Competition. After graduation, he also worked as an Art Director and Production Designer for films produced by both independent and major outfits. “Gulong” is Pado’s second one man show following “Terra Mater” in 2011.

"Gulong" opens July 2, 2014, Wednesday, 6pm until 10pm at Art Galileia.
